Medical Termination of Pregnancy also known as Medical Abortion

Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTOP), commonly known as medical abortion, offers a safe and effective non-surgical method to conclude a pregnancy within 9 weeks of gestation. This approach utilizes medication instead of invasive procedures.

Typically, the process involves three appointments and the administration of two medications. The first medication halts the progression of the pregnancy, while the second medication, taken 36-48 hours later, triggers the expulsion of the uterine contents.
